The design of the grand atrium in the 120,000 square meter home furnishing shopping center in Nantong, Jiangsu, serves as a central hub connecting the north and south shopping areas. This multifunctional space is not only a transportation junction but also a prime venue for showcasing the mall's offerings, hosting marketing campaigns, events, and exhibitions.The atrium features a unique design with floating platforms that appear to hover within the vast space. These platforms, crafted from steel structures, are ingeniously designed to give the illusion of being as thin as paper. The delicate, paper-like edges enhance the lightness and elegance of the design, creating a dynamic and visually striking environment.These floating platforms accommodate a variety of commercial uses, including cafes and performance spaces, bringing vibrancy and energy to the atrium.
